The worst thing you can do during your relaxing stay at home is spend the weekend cooking. Unless of course you love cooking and it relaxes you, so this is an opportunity to try out all those recipes you have saved on Pinterest but never got around to trying.
In that case, enjoy. But if you're someone who doesn't enjoy cooking, then it's a good idea to order food and stay home. After all, it's the weekend. What's wrong with treating yourself to a four-cheese pizza or colombia whatsapp list similarly delicious and high in calories? You'll burn off the calories in a week, no worries.
relaxation-2
Do something creative.
How many times have you told yourself that you'll finally start painting, drawing, gardening, doing puzzles, or knitting, but you never had the time for such creative activities? A free weekend spent within four walls and a digital detox work wonders when it comes to creativity.
Forget about Netflix and a book, take up some creative activity that you've been wanting to try but never have, or you've done it before and then stopped. Who knows, you might discover that you're really good at something or find a new hobby, which is always a good idea.
Refresh the space
Maybe you're one of those people who can't sit still. Yes, you'll order dinner or try to cook that dish you've been craving, watch a movie on Netflix, and finish the book you've been reading for 10 days. Maybe you'll knit a scarf, but you're not really into sitting and meditating. So what?
It's always a good idea to refresh your living space, rearrange your furniture, maybe throw out something old and order a new little thing online (a lamp, a wall clock, a new painting, a rug or curtains).
If you're super hyper, then a closet cleanout or a deep clean that you rarely have time for is a great idea. But trust me, don't spend your weekend on it unless you absolutely have to. Not even if you suffer from OCD. Okay?
Plan a day without plans
Planning without plans? That's possible, and sometimes even necessary. While I love planning and believe that life without plans is as pointless as a fly flying indoors, sometimes it's necessary to forget about planning in order to rest and relax.
Spontaneity is an often overlooked, yet necessary factor because what's the point of constantly planning? If you plan everything and try to follow the plans, you'll end up stressing yourself out.
That's why sometimes the best way to relax is to not plan or stick to any plans. Let the day take you in any direction. Whatever it is, it can't be wrong, even if you end up in bed and sleeping all weekend.
Forget about cooking, order food
