The description of the task for the new pages of the site took up dozens of A4 pages. In it, we thought through everything:
content and functionality of pages;
blocks of cross-linking with other pages of the site;
algorithm for generating anchors for links and more.
Due to the size and complexity of the task, we still couldn’t fully discuss it with the team and designers - it’s difficult to agree on such a volume of changes.
The requirements need to be reviewed. We identified the most cryptocurrency data important points for SEO and implementation and started with them. First, we implemented the generation of new pages so that search engines could index and rank them. And then we added interlinks, changed the design and expanded the functionality.
We estimated the traffic potential from the implementation of each task
We prioritized all tasks based on the volume of traffic they would bring. This is difficult to predict in absolute numbers. But to understand the importance of tasks relative to each other, the relative amount of traffic will do.

With this approach, the cost of testing SEO hypotheses is reduced to a minimum. Therefore, it becomes much easier to defend the assessed tasks to the product team.
As a result:
The first implemented tasks resulted in traffic growth within three months.
The product liked this format, and it is ready to increase the resource for SEO tasks and listen to recommendations
Then, work with the product moved to the following format: list of tasks in MVP → potential (forecast traffic) → product allocates resources.
With the increase of development resources, it becomes possible to send not only new tasks to sprints, but also to tweak the functionality in old ones. These are the ones that were initially MVP.
Thus, SEO earned trust and, step by step, received more development resources for the implementation of tasks.
We simplified tasks that required significant development resources to a minimum viable form
