Emily and her friends gather at a country house to watch a meteor shower. However, during the party, the friends begin to see strange things, and it soon becomes clear that something sinister is living in the house. Emily must explore the house to find a way to stop the monster and save herself and her friends. Along the way, she learns about the house's dark past.
The game's signature feature is the concept of time warping, much like the movie Groundhog Day. Emily experiences the same night over and over again. Each time you have to start the night over again, you retain the memories of what happened the last time you tried to escape. You must use your accumulated knowledge to find a way out before you and your friends are inevitably killed again.
