Inspiring cases of guerrilla marketing

Post by sumonasumonakha.t »

Types of Guerrilla Marketing
On the Internet you will find many ways to classify guerrilla marketing. Here are four basic types:

Ambient
It's about taking over a space, whether indoor or outdoor, and giving it a different touch. Let me clarify: it's not just about placing an ad, but about doing something that turns heads and surprises passersby. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's this example of Bounty kitchen towels. People even took photos with this giant palette!

Performance

Experiential
The goal here is to directly engage and interact with the audience . Here is one of my favorite examples, the Cinnabon escalator in Russia:

Viral
As I mentioned before, these creative and surprising actions often go viral. However, there are guerrilla marketing actions created primarily for the digital world, such as the Ice Bucket Challenge, which was created to draw attention to ALS in 2014:

In addition to the examples above, I would like to present you two cases that I find very funny and inspiring. The first one, to launch an internationally famous film and the other, to promote a small restaurant in Texas, United States.
