How to Discover Potential Content Ideas

In 10-15 minutes of browsing a subreddit, you can find a dozen potential content ideas and angles based on the conversations people are having in the community.
By default, Reddit will pre-show you the trending discussions. However, I've found that switching to "Rising" or "Controversial" often gives better results.

Now, it’s time to dive deeper into the threads. Here are the types of discussions I look for:
“How do I do X” type posts.
Lengthy debate.
The most voted questions and any questions that costa rica mobile database were voted on but ignored in the AMA.
Discussions or comments that have received many upvotes but have not received a good response.
“How do I do X” type posts are almost always a great place to brainstorm ideas and create new content.
This is an example of a discussion that I would add to my spreadsheet and explore further; this is an example of a user searching for the best jerky marinade.

Another example is how to frame the question. Based on the fact that it has been upvoted 81% of the time and has nearly 20 comments in a smaller subreddit, this tells me that there may be a lot of interest in this topic.
