Instagram: how to make a collage in the Layout function

Over the past few years, Instagram has been growing, developing, and to the delight of many users, it has been adding new and fun features. In December last year, a new feature appeared – the Layout feature for Instagram Stories.

Collages have always been popular on Instagram, but they always had to be made on other apps because Instagram didn't offer the option to create your own collage within the app.

Now that has changed, too, so you no longer need to try out various, often australia whatsapp list and ad-filled, free apps to make a nice collage. Or worse, pay for such apps just to get rid of ads or get an extra feature or two.

How to make a collage in Instagram Layout
When you open the Layout feature on Instagram, which is located at the bottom of the camera next to the Superzoom and Boomerang features, you will be given the option to take a series of photos or upload them directly from your phone's gallery (up to 6).

There are also several collage layout options from which you can choose the one you like best or that best suits you at a certain moment, and all options will appear on the screen.

When you're happy with the look of your collage, tap the checkmark with your finger and you can now edit your story like any other story – add GIFs, stickers, text, tag someone, or draw something.

And that's it. You can publish your collage right away or save it to your phone for later. Collages are popular on Instagram because, without a lot of effort, time, or knowledge, they add a nice, effective, and fun visual element to the content you post.

Just as they are useful to use if you have your own brand or business or are an influencer, it's also a great idea to add them if you're just posting for fun and for your own good. Because, why not spice up your Instagram with something new?
