Last week I received a newsletter from the Guild of Marketers that on January 30th there was a meeting of the Guild on the topic - "What is happening in the markets?"

Leading marketers I. Berezina, I. Kachalov, A. Vorobyova, O. Gvozdik, V. Zolotova presented their reviews at the meeting.

Igor Berezina drew attention to the sharp slowdown in the growth rate of nominal (!) incomes of Russians, which, in his opinion, led to a slowdown in the dynamics of consumer markets in 2012 and 2013, especially in the markets for food products and everyday goods .

Anna Vorobyeva presented the situation on the passenger car market, where after rapid growth in 2010 and 2011, a sharp decline in growth rates is expected in 2012 – perhaps even to zero.

Oleg Gvozdik shed light on the situation in retail .

Varvara Zolotova spoke about the development of marketing in social networks.
