You can change the owner of a directory in two ways:
Method 1: Using Properties
1. Right-click the problematic folder and select Properties.

3. In the directory owner, select Edit.

4. Enter a name and click Check Names. Then click OK.

5. Check the boxes “Replace owner on subcontainers and objects” and “Replace all child object permissions…” as shown in the figure below.
