— Rather disappointing. Our researchers have found 48 vulnerabilities in similar industrial robots designed to physically interact with people in a collaborative work environment.

These vulnerabilities could potentially be exploited to injure workers, or to configure CoBots to spy on what's going on in the room.

Machines can be reconfigured remotely and security settings can be changed, such as preventing them from operating outside a designated area. If a CoBot has a camera and microphone, they can be used for industrial espionage.
