Three weeks have passed.
— Rather disappointing. Our researchers have found 48 vulnerabilities in similar industrial robots designed to physically interact with people in a collaborative work environment.
These vulnerabilities could potentially be exploited to injure workers, or to configure CoBots to spy on what's going on in the room.
Machines can be reconfigured remotely and security settings can be changed, such as preventing them from operating outside a designated area. If a CoBot has a camera and microphone, they can be used for industrial espionage.
We will prepare a separate report on this. Not lebanon mobile database the equipment manufacturers are to blame, but also the integrators who did not perform the necessary security settings.
At the moment, until the deficiencies are corrected, it is unsafe to work with such equipment!
To date, IOActive researchers have found 50 vulnerabilities in industrial robots of this class. Researchers Cesar Cerrudo and Lucas Apa have published a paper that complements their February study, with technical details of the vulnerabilities, evidence of potential hacking, and demonstrations.
- Johann, can you please us with something?
