By the end of this year, Yandex will increase the number of robot couriers by 60%. Currently, about 80 robot couriers are working in Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan and Krasnodar Krai. Their number is planned to be increased to 130. Previously, the company did not say how many robots are transporting orders.

The relatively compact six-wheeled vehicle, about half a meter high, is capable of moving along city sidewalks at the speed of a pedestrian.
