In the end our target is not Google just as for Google we are not its target; our target and its target is the user. If Google says "make mobile sites usable and fast", it does not say it to complicate our life but because, simply, "it has done the math" and knows that "it is in its interest" that mobile websites are usable and fast... exactly as it is in our interest, our customers.
