How to Examine Backlinks of Any Website
It is useful to check the backlinks of sites, whether it is to plan a link building campaign or to compare your site to those of your competitors.
You'll get information about your site's backlink profile using tools like Google Search Console, but you'll probably need more detailed data about other websites' backlink profiles - and you'll get that with Semrush.
Using Google Search Console to understand your link profile
Google Search Console will give you an overview of your link profile, but will not provide you with any information about your competitors.
To get started, head over to Google Search Console and dentist data log in to your account. Using the left menu, head to the bottom of the menu, where you’ll find Links .
You will then get an overview of your website's backlink profile under the "External Links" section.
You will have information on:
External Links : How many external links point to your site.
Top Landing Pages : The pages on your site that have the most backlinks pointing to them.
Top domains linking to your site : The websites that most often link to your site.
Top Anchor Texts : The most commonly used anchor texts for external links.
You can also export your site's external links as a CSV file in the upper right corner.
