We use All in One SEO Pack more - that's the way it's historically worked out. But even if we had to choose, we would continue using it.

Yes, Yoast SEO initially amazed me with its helpfulness - with what social networks it didn't offer to integrate! How many validators and debuggers it concealed!

What services Yoast doesn't offer!
What services does Yoast SEO not know!
But All In One Seo Pack turned out to be more flexible in configuring Sitemap.xml and robots.txt, as well as when working with noindex and nofollow tags.

What Yoast SEO is missing
Both plugins are self-sufficient. But if they architect phone number data features, it would be even better.

Yoast SEO lacks more flexibility in handling Sitemap.xml and noindex/nofollow tags.

What All in One SEO Pack Lacks
There are og tags, but no twitter tags.
This is for bloggers who like their article to look good on social networks.

All in One SEO Pack is careless about tags of different social networks - it only works with OpenGraph tags. It does not allow you to configure article tags for Twitter (twitter:title, twitter:description and twitter:image).

Although, it's not such a big problem.

With any plugin you have to tinker with it from time to time

Breadcrumbs (navigation chains)

The designer may not draw bread crumbs. But they are needed.

Breadcrumbs are available out of the box in Yoast. In All in One SEO Pack, you have to add a plugin, such as Breadcrumb NavXT.

Skipping /category/ in URL

Refined taste (like ours) can keep you awake at night when category addresses on a site start with "/category/". And you want to change the address:

Site.ru/category/my-category/ → Site.ru/my-category/

Yoast can do it right away. But All in One SEO Pack will make you and your programmer sweat.

Broken migration from All in One SEO Pack to Yoast SEO

We tested moving from All in One SEO Pack to Yoast SEO. It doesn't work.
