"In order to have more information about the user, integration with the MTS ID service has been introduced, which reports the age and passport data of the client, which in the future will help to limit access to the service for underage users. However, even without registration, Yurent controls the ride using an IoT module installed on the scooter. Yurent has been testing the internal user rating since last year and, based on it, applies sanctions depending afghanistan whatsapp number database on the severity of the violations - from a warning to blocking the account. The company's scooters do not yet have a voice assistant, but the screens on the steering wheel warn the rider about dangerous riding modes and other parameters of the ride," the press service of Yurent said.

Leading analyst of Mobile Research Group Eldar Murtazin is confident that the situation with outrageous scooter riders will only be improved by fines and tough measures from the authorities.

A small number of people who are not blocked by services ride wildly and do everything to make sure that they are, to put it mildly, not liked. Only fines will stop traffic violations. That's why signs are being introduced to issue fines to scooter riders in the same way as to motorists. Knowledge of traffic rules is another side of the issue. Traffic rules training is being introduced so that users know where they can run into fines. But they will fine. This way, it is possible to reduce injuries to pedestrians and scooter riders. And especially violators must be blocked. The State Duma, and not only it, will put forward tough measures, because identifying the violator is important. But registration in the application does not guarantee anything. For example, stolen Yandex Drive car sharing accounts are sold on the black market. If you buy one, you can ride the service's cars without a license at all. It is unlikely that anything will be different with scooters. The scooter riders' rating is the same story, "The same as in car sharing," Eldar Murtazin said in a conversation with a ComNews correspondent.

"Recognizing vehicles by numbers on plates is a solution from the last century," said independent expert on IT and telecom markets Vadim Plesskiy in a conversation with a ComNews correspondent. "For the 90s and early 2000s, this is normal. For 2024, this is some kind of wildness."

Mikhail German, a partner at the Varshavsky and Partners law firm, believes that the measures taken by scooter aggregators, as well as the tightening of legislation, will not help solve the problem: it needs to be approached comprehensively, and a driving culture needs to be instilled.

"The measures taken by aggregators will not be enough, since the number of accidents involving scooters is not due to a lack of knowledge of traffic rules, but to a lack of culture of use as such. Of course, there are a lot of scooter riders who follow the rules and try not to interfere with other road users. But there is also a downside - these are people aged 13 to 25, who don't care about anything. Therefore, the measures taken are unlikely to significantly reduce injuries. As an analogy, we can cite car sharing, where the accident rate is also high, despite any measures taken. You can teach a person traffic rules through an application, but you can't conduct an inspection, since the application does not allow you to identify the person being inspected," Mikhail German comments on the situation to a ComNews correspondent.

He added that tightening the legislation will not reduce the number of accidents involving scooter riders: "Here, a comprehensive approach and the development of a scooter management culture will rather play a role. It is clear that in the conditions of, for example, St. Petersburg, it is very problematic to create dedicated lanes for scooters, nevertheless, it is worth thinking about it," Mikhail German concluded.
