ALEXEY SVESHNIKOV TELLS
I worked in a senior marketing position for a company that has been in business for 158 years. It was founded before serfdom was abolished in Russia. And it is so big, so ossified, without any modern technologies…

Have you ever seen pneumatic tubes? Do you know what they are? Watch the movie "The Grand Budapest Hotel". We had such things in our organization too. Working in a stable organization with a history seems good, until it comes to implementing a new idea or approach. My organization was a real ossified German company, the Germans are generally very far behind in terms of IT. When I decided to quit, I appreciated the beauty of parting in German style. I was paid several months' salaries. I had a desire to invest money in myself. Because there were many things that I could not learn over these 9 years. So why not use the resources of the old company to find a new job and a successful start?

I have been involved in marketing for quite a long time, a very long time ago - in the last millennium, I started doing it in about 1998. And at some point I realized that from the point of view of digital germany email list marketing my knowledge is somewhere around zero. I wanted to somehow improve myself.

It was the end of January, I decided to leave the job where I spent 9 years, because I was degrading as a professional, and this is not very right. At my age, I need to feel more confident. I am 41 now. And I started looking for a job, simultaneously starting classes at MAED. And I must say that this is a good impulse, one of the most correct impulses in terms of how a person feels. When a person looks for a job without studying - this is one story. When a person looks for a job while studying - this is a completely different, higher-quality story, in terms of self-presentation and thinking.

I was under a lot of stress: when everything is relatively stable and predictable, it is hard to change everything radically. Sports and studies helped me find a job within a month, and I think it is very cool. Moreover, there were quite a lot of offers, I expected it to be much worse. And so I accepted one of them and have already successfully found a job.
