Longer the same, please follow the latest information posted in the Involve Asia member area, and just consider my sharing this as an academic purpose. Starting 1 June 2021, the commission structure is as follows The list above is actually longer, but I cut it down to item number 8. For example, we successfully sold computer products worth RM1,000. The commission we will earn is 4.20% for new customers who have never registered an account on Shopee, and 0.

However, for the commission calculation, we assume that we successfully acquire new users, and our commission rate is 4.20%. So the actual commission we will get is 4.20% X RM1,000 = RM42 But wait. Remember the 99 acres database RM35 cap commission? In this situation, even though 4.20% of RM1,000 is RM42, your commission is only RM35. We managed to get sales for items priced at RM1,000 but our commission was only RM35. Do you think it was worth it? The question is, why is this? Why is there a sales cap? I don't have the answer.

But maybe we can assume that it is arranged this way to ensure the continuity of this affiliate program . If they give high commissions to affiliates, Shopee MAY have to introduce or increase fees to merchants who successfully make sales. Or maybe the commission to the affiliate is considered a cost that Shopee has to pay (as a marketing cost) and if the cost is too high, they will eventually have to cancel programs like the Shopee Free Shipping Program that make this platform attractive to sellers. Don't like the headache of managing sales, but still want to make money with Shopee? The affiliate program is PERFECT for those who are too lazy to think about buying and selling on Shopee.
