Usually, freelancers will work on a project basis. Once a project is completed, their services are no longer needed. This is different from hiring full-time employees, where employers cannot fire employees at will without providing any form of compensation. If there are any readers out there who are planning to make a career as a freelancer their main career, believe me, it is indeed possible.


It won't happen quickly or overnight. Building a career as a freelancer is like building gambling data turkey your own business. It takes time for people to become aware of our existence and the services we offer. That's why it's better to start early, and if you start dabbling in freelance while you're still working, that's even better. At least you'll have a steady source of income while you wait for your freelance business to become stronger and able to replace your regular income.


As we build our careers, there will be many things we need to learn. At this point, we need to know a little bit about marketing, advertising, company (or business) money management, taxation, legal aspects, and so on. At this stage, you can always experiment, what kind of freelance work really suits your taste and soul. Remember, you may be doing this work for the rest of your life, so it's better to choose a job that you are truly interested in and enjoy doing.
