This was stated by Nikolay Molchanov, Business Development Director of Mobiustech LLC (Mobius Technologies), at the company's press breakfast on November 14. During his speech, he noted that the company sees opportunities for growth in foreign markets, providing a high level of expertise and experience accumulated in matters of technological consulting, service maintenance and in international projects.
“Since the beginning of 2024, we have conducted a comprehensive analysis of markets, demand and developed a strategy for entering foreign markets that best meets the needs and characteristics of each individual region,” he said.
Uzbekistan was chosen after indonesia telegram negotiations with local distributors who trust the company.
"The departure of Western vendors," he noted, "in 2022 also affected the CIS. The vast majority of engineers involved in technology consulting and service maintenance provided services from regional offices located in Russia. When Western companies left, a vacuum of available expertise arose, but the market needs remained. That is, customers continue to receive solutions from Western vendors, but they are deprived of the level of expertise that was available over the phone. In Uzbekistan, we see a demand for consulting and service services of the level that we provide. The office in Tashkent will be open by the end of 2024, we intend to make it a starting point for expanding our international presence."
Later, Nikolay Molchanov told a ComNews correspondent that the CIS countries consider the IT sector of the economy to be important, pay special attention to it and try to motivate companies to "come" to their markets and bring resources and knowledge with them.
"Uzbekistan has a digitalization program until 2030. We analyzed the markets in terms of opportunities for IT companies to participate, benefits, taxation, features of opening and running a business for Russian founders, and so on. As a result, Uzbekistan took first place in our rating," he said.
According to Nikolay Molchanov, one of the tasks was to immerse oneself in local regulations, but in Uzbekistan there are companies that specialize in legal assistance in starting a business.
"There is an IT Park in Uzbekistan that provides its residents with significant benefits and advantages for companies that are included in it. Most of our engineers are currently in the Russian Federation, but experience shows that there will be no difficulties. Our partners know how we work and that if necessary we can be present at the site," said Nikolai Molchanov.
"Uzbekistan is a rapidly developing country, its GDP growth in the first six months of 2024 in annual terms was 6.4%. This is much higher than in Russia and Kazakhstan and is already comparable to the indicators of India and Indonesia. Moreover, the World Bank predicts an increase in the economy of Uzbekistan by 5.8% and 5.9% in 2025-2026, which will ensure the country's leadership in growth rates in Central Asia," Natalia Milchakova, leading analyst at Freedom Finance Global, told a ComNews correspondent.
She noted that at the moment Uzbekistan is still an agrarian and raw materials country, whose economic growth is ensured by the rapid development of agriculture and the raw materials industry. However, the country also has non-raw materials sector enterprises, such as UzAvtoMotors, Uztelecom and an established stable banking sector.
