History of AI art
Art generated by artificial intelligence started in 2014, when GANs – the basis of generative artificial intelligence technologies – were first discussed .

A year later, Google released DeepDream , a software that used a convolutional neural network (CNN) codenamed “Inception” after the film of the same name . It was an experimental approach to creating art using artificial intelligence, the development of which helped further advance the field.

In 2018, the website Artbreeder , formerly known as Ganbreeder, was launched, which has an barbados email list artistic focus and uses machine learning to enable collaboration between users. Using the StyleGAN and BigGAN models , the website is able to generate and edit images of faces, landscapes, and paintings, and much more.

AI art made its big debut in January 2021. That month, OpenAI launched Dall-E . And what was so significant about it? Anyone with internet access could try it out . The revolution in using AI for art could officially begin.

Convert text to image
In May 2022, Google introduced its text-to-image technology, Imagen . This was followed in August 2022 by Stability AI , which launched Stable Diffusion. Both AIs were able to create artistic images based on textual cues.

In 2023, other giants of the software world joined the game. For example, Adobe , which introduced Firefly , a tool integrated into Photoshop and Premier that can edit images and videos with the help of AI.
