Almost 5 million unique users have once again made Telecinco.es the television website with the highest number of followers in Spain, a leadership position that the network has historically held on the Internet and which since June 2008 has been supported by audience measurement carried out by the Country Market Intelligence tool of Nielsen Online, audited by OJD.
Telecinco.es has increased its number of unique users for the fourth consecutive month in May, reaching 4,977,742, 6.29% more than in April, which is the third best result for the website since its renewal linkedin data in January 2008. The Telecinco website has almost half a million more users than RTVE.es (4,568,975) and more than 1.7 million more than Antena3tv.com (3,200,743).
On the other hand, Telecinco's online offering has accumulated 13,212,266 visits and 93,343,694 page views in May, figures that also place it as the first choice for Internet users among all the television channels measured by the Nielsen tool audited by OJD.
In comparison with the total number of media outlets in Spain, Telecinco.es was ranked fourth in May, only surpassed by the websites of the newspapers El Mundo, Marca and 20 Minutos. RTVE was in fifth place and Antena 3 in seventh.
Telecinco.es is also the only audiovisual website present in the ranking of the 10 most visited sites in the global list of audited websites in Spain. RTVE is ranked 14th, while Antena 3 is ranked 20th.
