Happy 16th Anniversary♥ iRidge has celebrated its 16th anniversary since its founding!!
Nice to meet you. I'm Hiyoshi from the iRidge HR Group. This time, I'll be reporting on the Oda Seminar (an internal event hosted by the president) and the 16th anniversary social gathering.
First, at Oda Seminar, President Oda gave a talk looking congo email address back on the history of iRidge, which is now celebrating its 16th anniversary since its founding.
Influenced by my grandfather and father, who were entrepreneurs, I had a strong desire to start my own company someday. I gained experience in the financial and mobile internet industries at several companies, built my foundation as an entrepreneur, and decided to found iRidge.
The year 2008, when iRidge was founded, was a turbulent year for the world. The Lehman Shock had a major impact on the global economy, and many companies in Japan were also in a difficult position. We decided to use our experience to enter the mobile business.
First, we rented a one-room apartment in Aoyama and started iRidge with three people. We tried 15 new services, but only two of them were profitable. However, this success became a stepping stone for the next growth.
Some memorable new services include "tegat," a service that allows users to freely draw T-shirt designs on the website and then have them actually produced, sold, and purchased, and "It Bag Collection," the latest brand bag rental service that supports women's fashion sense.
Although both of these ideas were novel, I faced challenges in the implementation stage and did not achieve the results I expected, but these experiences provided me with valuable lessons to hone my business acumen.
After that, we moved our office to Shinjuku Gyoen and expanded our team to 12 people. As smartphones became more popular, we took on the challenge of developing smartphone apps. By developing smartphone apps at the request of a major company, iRidge's growth accelerated even further, and our current main business, the OMO business, was launched in earnest.

Thus, iRidge, which was founded in the turbulent year of 2008, has overcome many difficulties to reach the present day. Looking back on the history of iRidge from its founding to the present day, the efforts we have made so far and the direction we should aim for in the future have become clearer. I also felt a strong desire to make further efforts as a member of iRidge, which will continue to grow in the future.

At iRidge, hybrid work is widespread and remote communication is common, but face-to-face communication is also important. About 70 people participated in the social gathering, and it was a good opportunity for members who hadn't spoken face-to-face in a while and members of other departments who don't usually talk much to enjoy conversation over food and drinks and deepen their friendships.
Above is a report on Oda Juku and the social gathering celebrating the 16th anniversary of its establishment. Next time, I would like to investigate other company events. See you!
