Artificial intelligence, going online, prevention:

How will AI help in our country's medicine in the future and will it replace doctors? Let's find out.

Against the backdrop of a full-scale war, new trends are emerging in Ukrainian medicine. Some of them we can no longer imagine our lives without, while others are only gaining momentum. For example, Ukrainians are increasingly receiving doctor consultations online and ordering medications without leaving their homes. They have become more interested in disease prevention, so they use special database pplications with artificial intelligence technologies to monitor important health indicators and maintain stress resistance.

And doctors in Ukraine are already using artificial intelligence (AI) to diagnose tuberculosis. So, the logical questions are: how will AI help in our country's medicine in the future and will it replace doctors? Let's find out.

How artificial intelligence is penetrating medicine in Ukraine and the world
Everyone has heard of artificial intelligence (AI). It is present in many areas of our lives — from education to cleaning. We are talking about smartphones, TVs, smart vacuum cleaners, speakers, etc. This global trend is actively spreading in Ukraine and adapting to our needs. It has not bypassed medicine.

A new option in Helsi based on AI technologies became available to patients in early June 2024. The patient uploads the results of urine and blood tests to the application and receives a transcript in a matter of minutes. This service does not make diagnoses, but can assess health risks, taking into account the age and gender of the user specified in the profile. It will recommend which doctor to consult, what diet to follow, what healthy habits to form, etc. A useful option, given our realities.
