As we have seen above, the presence of an electronic address through which to send the electronic invoice xml file to the buyer (or receive invoices from our suppliers) is essential for issuing the document (which in its absence is discarded).

This electronic address can be of

In light of this, it is obvious how fundamental the types are: recipient code and Certified Electronic Mail (PEC) address.

The recipient code is a seven-character alphanumeric code that represents a direct telematic channel with the SDI, through which it is possible to receive and send invoices.

The assignment of a recipient code requires specific authorization from the Revenue Agency, which is granted only if the applicant demonstrates having a hardware and software IT infrastructure and technological russia email list skills that allow for the correct management of the process and data security.

For this reason, almost all recipient codes refer to software houses that produce management and invoicing software. The recipient code, in these cases, becomes a sort of "collective telematic address" to which invoices are sent. The software house will then forward the invoice to the final recipient, a bit like the doorman of a large apartment building.

The PEC issue is different. In fact, via certified email, the file is sent directly to the subject, who will find the invoice among his emails.

PEC, in case you didn't know, is a system of certified emails, subject to particular encryption and which represent real "digital registered letters".
