In October 2019, the company launched a service to plan and support the operation of YouTube ads for D2C companies, and is continuing to rapidly expand its business.
The company's distinctive feature is that it has in-house know-how in direct response marketing (DRM), which is said to be essential for success in the web business. In addition, personnel with no experience in the advertising industry are also active. What is the appeal of working at the company and what is interesting about the job? We spoke to Ayako Ozawa, who works as a manager in the video advertising business.

I want to find a vision for myself in 5 or 10 years.
AIGATE Co., Ltd.
- Please tell us how you came to join AIGATE.
Ozawa: In my previous job, I worked in the industry of planning encounters such as "machikon" events, with a focus on event planning and app development. I was in charge of app development director, but I also ran the events such as attracting visitors and hosting the events on the day. I liked the work itself, but I was worried about not having a superior or senior who could be a role model for my career. I couldn't see a vision of where I would be in five or ten years if I continued like this, so I decided to change jobs because I wanted to try something new.
When I was looking for a new job, I decided to look for a sales industry email list position, even though I had no experience. I thought that if I acquired sales skills, they would be useful in any job I would take in the future. While interviewing at several companies using a job-seeking website, I was attracted by the catchphrase "No experience necessary," so I interviewed for a sales position at AIGATE, but the company president asked me if I was interested in advertising work. It seems that the "Web Analyst" qualification I had written on my resume happened to catch the president's eye. I didn't expect the qualification I had obtained at my previous job to be evaluated in this way, but I wanted to give it a try, so I decided to join the company.
-- During your job search, you applied to other companies, so what made you decide to join AIGATE?
Mr. Ozawa: It all depended on the atmosphere of the interview. Each person in charge had a good personality, and I felt that it was a company that cared about the lives of each employee. I was just at the point where I was worrying about my future career, such as five or ten years from now.
After joining the company, I was assigned to the advertising division, but there was no particular difference in the corporate culture before and after joining. As it is a venture, I think the company has a very open atmosphere with the upper management. We can talk about anything about the company, such as "It would be nice if we had this kind of employee benefits," so I also find it attractive that employees, regardless of their position, can actively change the company for the better.
