The 15th installment of the "Web Industry Evolution Practical Course" is aimed at web designers and UI/UX designers who are thinking about their future careers. Suzuki Shinji, a UI/UX designer at Money Forward, will be the guest and will talk about the talent that is active in business companies and the "user perspective" that is required.

In this interview just before the event, we spoke to Suzuki about his career, which saw him move from a production company to a business company, and the ideas he values ​​as a UI/UX designer.

Shinji Suzuki, UI/UX Designer,

Born in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. After graduating from a vocational school, he worked as an art director and senior designer at two design production companies for seven years. Suzuki: After studying graphics at a vocational school, I joined an advertising production company as a designer. I was involved in all kinds of graphic design, mainly paper media, such as transportation ads, newspaper ads, and package design, so I was pretty much a jack-of-all-trades.

At first, I was planning to continue to make a living as a graphic designer. However, the cost of print advertising has been falling year by year, and Adobe products such as Illustrator have become more widely used.
