Google made a major change to the Adwords algorithm in 2014, let's look at the current process. This tool is extremely important for web positioning and is used by companies of different sizes, both SMEs and larger, more established companies. But how does Google Adwords work?

Creating the ad
To create the ad effectively, follow these steps:

1-Search for keywords.
2-Create landing pages, also known as landing pages.
3-Write an announcement.
4- Set maximum CPC
5- Add Ad Formats.
Google receives a search
After receiving a query, the AdWords system searches for general managers email list ads whose keywords match the searched phrase as closely as possible. AdWords then makes a selection and the auction begins.

The auction begins
Each advertiser bids with the maximum value assigned to them. Please note that only one bid is allowed per account.

How does Google determine ad positions?
The most important search engine uses a value called AD RANK, which is determined by the maximum bid, Quality Score and the estimated impact of Ad Formats. Obviously, the exact algorithm formula is unknown.

What factors are used to calculate the Quality Score?
Two main factors are used:

Landing page experience: good navigability, original and specialized content, transparency, cookies and privacy policy and other similar values.
Ad Relevance: This is based on the analysis of the degree of concordance between the search performed and the content of your advertisement.
What are AD Formats?
AD Formats are visual enhancements to search network ads. This variable is used to better highlight information about the company.
Google gives as examples: the extension of the phone number, the use of site links and adding the domain of your website in the header of the ad.

How are AdWords costs calculated?
The Maximum Cost per Click (CPC) is the maximum amount that the Adwords user is willing to pay each time a user clicks on our ads. The final cost is determined by an auction. The maximum CPC does not mean the maximum cost that will be paid, the auction will depend on the platform used. Among the values that Google takes into account are the quality level, the search history, the relationship of the page with the ads and the maximum bid of the direct competition.
