Amy Webb , founder of the Future Today Institute and professor at New York University Stern School of Business, released her “ Tech Trends 2019 ” report this weekend at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas .
For this 12th edition of its visionary work on the issues to follow in the short and long term, 315 trends in tech and science were detected (+30% compared to previous reports), an increase due to the acceleration of technologies last year, from biotechnologies to mixed realities, including satellites and transport. As for the last decade, the report is dominated by AI as the main issue for all sectors, including the media.
