We said that to create our mailing list we have to "send" users to a "place": a landing page.
In order to collect contacts, the landing page must contain a subscription form . These are the fields that people must fill in to sign up for the newsletter.
Which fields to include in the form? This depends on the botim data objective: if you simply want to send weekly updates via email, ask only for the essential data (email and name).
Tip: the less we ask for, the more the user will be encouraged to leave us their contact details. We can request the other information in a second step, but in the meantime we have collected the email
