At least the unit itself is fairly compact, and ASUS has included the ability to mount the router on a wall if there’s no room on a shelf. As for the LEDs, there are plenty of them, and they accurately indicate the status of various aspects of the router. They didn’t go with a single disco light like other brands, thank goodness. Now let’s talk about the ports.

On the left, there's a DC-In port, followed by three Gigabit LAN ports, the third one supporting link aggregation with the fourth Gigabit port. And that last one can also function as a WAN, as can the 2.5GbE port further to the right. And then we also get a USB 3.0 port.

The usual set of buttons are located on the bottom side, and georgia telegram data this is where the developers have definitely shown their creative side, which I definitely liked.

Heat management
In terms of heat management, ASUS has been very generous with the vents at both the top and bottom. But we are still dealing with passive cooling, so is this enough? I used a thermal imaging camera to get an idea, and as expected, we see some hot spots appearing, but this is normal as the heat is being dissipated away from the chipsets.
