Prospective lead scoring evaluates your leads based on characteristics such as (online) behavior, demographics, social media , email and spam detection. The "score" uses historical data to provide information about the likelihood of a contact becoming a customer.

The new Predicted Lead Scoring tool consists of two functions,

HubSpot has developed a custom template ios database for customers based on the information above.
This template is used to assign a lead score to each contact in your database.


To access the new tool, you must be a HubSpot Enterprise customer. Here are some requirements you should keep in mind,

Your database must contain contacts with whom you have a business relationship as well as those who are not yet customers
You must have marked contacts as customers for at least three months
You must have at least 500 contacts in HubSpot marked as customers.
You must have at least twice as many contacts who are not yet marked as customers.
Please note that these are general guidelines that may vary from account to account.

Expected_Lead_Scoring_HubSpot
If you don't meet the above criteria, HubSpot offers a standard template that uses predicted lead scoring from existing customers based on reliable data. However, this template will not use personalized account information such as IP, country, state, or industry, but will give you a starting point for predicted lead scoring. You can access the new tool by going to Contacts // Lead Scoring and then selecting "Predicted Lead Scoring .
