Even if you have everything you need to get started in a folder called Basics or Events or Analytics vs. Call Tracking versus a billion different tracking pixels on your website, it's a good idea to keep it all organized. I know it's two minutes now. It's saving you a lifetime of misery in the future, and in the future you, whether they're working there or someone who's ending your job five years from now, just make it easier on them.
A to when you say Google Analytics has been around for a benin number data long time. When I go back and look at some of my very early analytics that I set up, I can look at it and think, "Why was I doing that?" But if you have the documentation, at least you'll know why you did this really weird thing in 2008. Or when you're looking at it in 2029 and you're thinking, "Why did I do this in 2019?" you'll have the documentation for it. So just really keep that in mind.

Then the last thing is to audit regularly, and that means every 3, 6, or 12 months. Choose a time period that makes sense of how often you're going into the container.
