Fix 9: Modify the PointandPrint registry key

The PointandPrint registry key can sometimes cause the "Operation could not be completed" error. Here's how to configure it correctly to prevent this from happening.
Open the Start menu, type command promptand click Run as administrator.
Paste the following command into the Command Prompt window and press Enter: reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Printers\PointAndPrint" v RestrictDriverInstallationToAdministrators t REG_DWORD d 1 f.
If the command runs successfully, restart your algeria mobile database computer and then try setting up the printer again.
Fix 10: Uninstall Windows Updates
It's possible that the "The operation couldn't be completed" error started appearing after installing a Windows update. In this case, uninstalling that update may help fix the issue.
Open the Settings app and click Windows Update in the lower left corner.
Next, click "Update history" on the Windows Update page.
Scroll down to the Related Settings section on the next page and click Uninstall updates.
You will see updates that can be uninstalled. To uninstall an update, click Uninstall on the right. Restart your computer, and then try setting up your default printer again.
