Installation of the visitor counter on the site may differ depending on the selected tool. General installation algorithm:

Select a counter: Decide on the counter service you want to use. Register on the chosen platform and get the counter code.
Get the counter code: In the counter service you will find a unique code that you need to place on each page of your site. This code will track and register visits.
Place the code on your site: There are several ways to place the counter code on your site. Here are some of them:
Inserting the code into the HTML markup: Open the HTML markup files of your site and find the <head> or <body> tag. Insert the counter code before the closing </head> or </body> tag.
Using a tag manager: If you use a tag manager such as Google romania email list Tag Manager , you can add the counter code through this tool. Add a new tag by pasting the counter code into the appropriate field.
Using Plugins or Extensions: If your site runs on a content management platform ( CMS ) such as WordPress , Joomla , OpenCart , or Drupal, you can install a plugin or extension provided by the counter service. This will make the process of installing the counter code easier.
Check the installation: After placing the counter code on your site, go to the counter page and check its operation. Counter services usually provide testing modes to make sure the counter is installed correctly and has started tracking visits.
Track data and generate reports of interest to you: After installing the counter, give it some time to collect data. After that, you will be able to receive reports and statistics on your site's traffic through the counter control panel.
