Write for Google?
1st approach: I write my text for Google? Well then, fire up the keyword tool, pay attention to the right keyword density, set up outbound links, mark the right places in bold and underline them. Phew, not that easy. And what if the users who are now appearing "in large numbers" don't like my awkward text at all because it is written in an incomprehensible way? Goal achieved, visitor found but not converted.
Fortunately, Google has been accommodating us gambling data australia for some time now by no longer liking this approach. Rule of thumb: Google is happy when, from its perspective, the person/reader is also happy with the text. Phew, that's good. So great content is content that makes the reader happy. Always remember: we don't write for Google, we write for the reader!
But we can still learn a lesson from the first approach: my content can be as great as it wants without visitors, but it doesn't do me any good. Unless, of course, my sole aim with my blog is to increase the number of visitors and the frequency of visits, either to bask in the glow of my partial internet fame or to earn €3.50 with Google AdSense or some affiliate banner. Unfortunately, this is where the thinking of many blog operators (companies) stops. My blog is great because I have a lot of visitors.
