First, you should test on a selected group whether the content you create resonates with the target group.
Let's say you wanted to see if your new editorial line (post ideas) would appeal to your inactive fans. If only they could see it!
There is a way to do this – a group of non-standard people with activity under posts.
What are Custom Audiences?
Custom Audiences are the target group of your ads, which are created in the Ads Manager uae rcs data based on external data such as emails, phone calls, website traffic (i.e. remarketing ).
You can also create such groups based on activity on your fanpage and Instagram. This way you can reach not only your fans or their friends (like when promoting posts on Facebook ), but only their active part.
Now, note that a custom audience can be the audience for your ads, but you can also exclude that group.
This is particularly important for us in this case. Why? Because if you exclude from your fans those who are active, then your content will reach precisely those… inactive ones!
So you can set up an ad whose target group looks like this: Your fans who have not been active on the fan page for, for example, 60 days.
If you are changing your publishing strategy, it is worth showing new posts to this group and checking their reaction. Maybe they will be interested in your content again?
