Symptoms of Lyme disease vary widely and may be different for each person.

The most common symptoms include:

However, if left untreated, the infection can develop into chronic Lyme disease, which can spread to other parts of the body and cause more serious symptoms, such as neurological problems, heart problems, and joint inflammation.
