SAP products localized in Russia received a patent

Ilya Massukh, Director of the ANO "Competence Center for Import Substitution in the Sphere of Information and Communication Technologies" (ANO "CIT"), reported at the international railway equipment and technology fair "PRO//Movement.Expo" on August 25, 2023 that, according to monitoring data from ANO "CIT", the share of Russian ERP systems purchased by state companies and government agencies amounted to about 85% in 2022. At the same time, in 2021, purchases of domestic systems amounted to only 31%.

Among the foreign developers of corporate information systems on the Russian market were SAP, Oracle, OwnCloud, OneDrive. Russian analogues are Elma LLC, 1C LLC, MFlash LLC, Galaktika Corporation JSC and other solutions.

Kirill Semion, Head of the IT Department at Russian Railways (RZD), General Director of the National Competence Center for Information Systems of Holding Management, noted that large companies, such as RZD, previously used foreign ERP systems, but now companies are faced with the task of completely switching to domestic analogues, despite the fact that their implementation involves functional and technical difficulties.
