Webber said he learned of his diagnosis in 2014, when he was 49. He said he had no health complaints: he ran marathons, went to work, and raised three children. The alarming symptom suddenly appeared during a vacation that the man spent with his family at Disneyland in the United States.
"I noticed that I started getting up several times every night to urinate, but I thought that most likely the problems with urination began because of water," he recalled.
However, after returning home, the symptom did not go away, so Webber made an appointment with a doctor, who, after a series of tests and examinations, diagnosed prostate cancer.
"Then there was chemotherapy - six rounds over 18 weeks. Then a month off, followed by six rounds of radiotherapy," the marathon runner said.
