The effect of increasing the maximum permissible

Post by tanjimajuha20 »

The branch of the System Operator Kemerovo RDU (implements the functions of operational dispatch control of electric power facilities in the territory of the Kemerovo and Tomsk regions) has implemented a digital system for monitoring stability reserves (SMZU) in three controlled sections: "3 AT", "Kemerovskoye", "Krasnopolyanskaya - Novoleninskaya".

flow from the introduction of croatia whatsapp resource the SMZU when managing the electric power mode in the controlled section "3 AT" reaches 2% (21 MW), in the section "Kemerovskoye" 2% (10 MW), and in the controlled section "Krasnopolyanskaya - Novoleninskaya" 3% (5 MW). Each megawatt of additionally transmitted capacity, among other things, allows reducing possible restrictions for consumers in post-emergency modes for individual circuit-mode situations.

"The implementation of the SMZU in the specified controlled sections will allow, without any capital investments in the construction of network and generating equipment, to increase the degree of use of the existing electrical network's throughput capacity and expand the area of circuit-mode situations, in post-emergency modes of which there is no need to limit such giant consumers as JSC RUSAL Novokuznetsk, JSC Evraz ZSMK, JSC Kuznetsk Ferroalloys, chemical industry enterprises KAO Azot, PAO Koks, PAO Khimprom, as well as coal mining enterprises of the Kuznetsk coal basin," noted Pavel Yakis, Director of the Kemerovo Regional Dispatching Office.

SMZU is a domestic software and hardware complex developed by JSC STC UES jointly with JSC SO UES. The system performs calculations at certain intervals and provides the dispatcher with information on permissible power flows for a given moment in time, taking into account the actual mode of the power system. The use of SMZU allows reducing the load of the least economically efficient generation in some parts of the power system and loading the most economical power plants in others.

The SMZU technology has been consistently implemented by the Kemerovo Regional Dispatch Office since 2021 and is currently used in 14 controlled sections.
