Augmented Reality, the next big thing

Post by asimd23 »

Do you remember the Google data glasses? Not much, they were a veritable flop for the search engine giant. These glasses were supposed to be the first step into what is known as "augmented reality" (AR): the connection of the reality around you with virtual additions such as impending speed traps, fire brigade operations nearby, cyclists in your blind spot, toilets approaching, etc. All of this, for example, brought together in the lower part of the windshield of a car.

The twenty.10 generation takes the spain rcs data emergence of this link between virtuality and reality for granted. A friend of mine, Vanessa Hensel from Munich (actually too old for the subject, she is 40 years old and is still allowed to give lectures on the subject), talks to me every time we meet about this fantastic new augmented reality. Her 361 Extended Reality GmbH has 40 other employees, the oldest of whom is 25 years old. Mama Vanessa seems to me to be one of the few people over 30 who fully understand what is hidden behind the name augmented reality. She is richly rewarded for this, because start-ups like 361 Extended Reality in Munich or Wayray in Silicon Valley are considered the next unicorns, i.e. companies that will soon be valued at more than a billion dollars.
