The information turned out to be false, but it led to a sharp collapse in the value of the company's shares on the stock exchange and a loss of 7 billion euros in profits.

The need for refutation. This procedure is required by the court if the fake has caused harm to the subject of the publication, and the latter has applied for protection of his rights.

However, this procedure requires time and effort, and it should be taken into account that standard tools do not always help with fact-checking on social networks.
