The fact is that the legislation provides a direct obligation for the media and news aggregators to counteract the publication of fake news. The information turned out to be false, but it led to a sharp collapse in the value of the company's shares on the stock exchange and a loss of 7 billion euros in profits.
The need for refutation. This procedure is required by the court if the fake has caused harm to the subject of the publication, and the latter has applied for protection of his rights.
