Szymon: Usually, in the case of rebranding, changes concern the form of the sign, but also the entire ideological and associative sphere, when new goals and assumptions appear in the brand's communication strategy. Here, there are no such changes.
We continue to use the same, only more synthetic iconography, the same message associated with Copernicus and his great discovery. The construction of the new sign and the arrangement of its elements consistently flow from the construction of the previous signs, and are their contemporary continuation.
Artur: Do you mean that this really refers to the previous sign? That it was impossible to brazil rcs data find something "in between"?
Szymon: Together we came to the conclusion that subtle, half-hearted actions will not bring the intended effect and that now is a good time to introduce such a change.
The old sign is too elaborate, complicated. There are problems with its legibility on a smaller scale, it is difficult to reproduce in some techniques. Its form is archaic and not free from construction errors. Therefore, its role in everyday communication will be taken over by the new sign along with the entire new identification system.
Artur: Ok, so if the new sign actually refers to its predecessor, what is its history? Where did the inspiration come from?
Szymon: The conceptual process took a few weeks. We were looking for symbols related to the Sun, the heliocentric system. We analyzed the existing symbols, defining their most important elements.
The most important inspirations were the aforementioned engraving from De Revolutionibus , a circle with a point in the centre symbolising the Sun, as well as an analogous symbol which has been the astronomical and astrological symbol of the Sun since the late Renaissance.
Artur: Exactly, why this rebranding and not another?
